This quote means that doing the right thing might mean you have to stand alone. And even if you are standing alone you know you are doing the right thing. It doesn't matter if the people around you do it, it matters if you are choosing the right thing. Sometimes your friend might be on a different path, and they might be your friends, but it's your future. You can even bring people on to your path so that you won't stand alone. You have to be alone sometimes, although it might seem scary, you will end up finding people who will stand with you. Choosing the right is the best thing you can do, whether it be a small or big problem. You have to what is right because that will guarantee success. Choosing the right might be hard for others, so that's why they don't do it. But if you stay on your path, you can bring others into your path.
