~Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan that addresses  specific functional needs
~Teach children and adults how to make sounds and improve their voices and maintain fluency
~Help individuals improve vocabulary and sentence structure used in oral and written language
~Work with children and adults to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow
~Counsel individuals and families on how to cope with communication and swallowing disorders

This quote means that because everyone is doing it doesn't make it okay for you to do. For example if you see other people cheating, you think "Oh, everyone is doing it so it's okay" so you cheat too, but your fate sealed when you cheat. You might get to the point where you cheat almost every time you have a test, you will end up getting caught. Everyone might be doing something but for you do it too just makes you a follower and you want to be leader. You can choose to ignore them and let them deal with there own problems or you can be a follower and possible set yourself up for destruction. You make your own decisions and you shouldn't let others influence you. Following others most of the time only leads you bad things, because you can't let others control your life. I prefer to be a leader since i don't want to be someone i am not by following other people. Another example is drugs, alcohol, and smoking, it can affect you if you fall into peer pressure
