This quote means that you have to always think before you act, because if you stop and think it can change your life. People tend to do things without thinking, they think it won't affect them but it will. You have to be smart and ask yourself if this is right or wrong. If it is right then do it and if it is wrong don't do it. A right choice is something that will affect you in a positive way and the wrong choice is if it affects you in a negative way. You have to thin ahead because right and wrong can either affect you in a good way or it can mes up your life. An example of this a homeless man returning a ring, he could have sold the ring and gotten, but he did the right thing and returned it. He got rewarded big time, not only did he have the couple that lost engagement ring start a fund for him, and receiving more money, he also reunited with his family. He got so much more than if he would have sold it. That's why you have to think ahead because one day your life can either change in a good way or a bad way, whether you choose right or wrong determines that.

This quote means that because everyone is doing it doesn't make it okay for you to do. For example if you see other people cheating, you think "Oh, everyone is doing it so it's okay" so you cheat too, but your fate sealed when you cheat. You might get to the point where you cheat almost every time you have a test, you will end up getting caught. Everyone might be doing something but for you do it too just makes you a follower and you want to be leader. You can choose to ignore them and let them deal with there own problems or you can be a follower and possible set yourself up for destruction. You make your own decisions and you shouldn't let others influence you. Following others most of the time only leads you bad things, because you can't let others control your life. I prefer to be a leader since i don't want to be someone i am not by following other people. Another example is drugs, alcohol, and smoking, it can affect you if you fall into peer pressure
