This quote means that doing the popular thing doesn't matter, because most likely it will be wrong. You can't let "oh but everyone is doing it" be your answer every time. Like drinking, you shouldn't be pressured to drink because you want to seem cool, if they complain then oh well, it your body they don't make the choices. An example of this is when you are at a party and people are trying get you to drink, if you seem "cool" and drink you'll be affecting your body. People focus on trying to be popular that they don't realize that being popular doesn't matter later on in life. Some people have a different idea of fun, that excludes drinking or smoking. If you pressure people into doings things your not letting them choose for themselves, it their body so you shouldn't choose what they put in it. And if people think you "can't hang" then that's their problem, you shouldn't care what they think. I don't enjoy going to parties except if it's for one of my friends. I don't care if it's popular, I'm making decisions by myself because i want to.

Honor is the best thing you can have, it's better to fail with honor, it shows what type of person you are. If you cheat and get caught, that can mess up for life. If you win or fail with honor it shows what type of morals you have, and it shows your parents raised you right. Doing the right will always do good, that's why you have to do it all the time. Doing wrong will not get you anywhere in life, so why would you do it.Choosing the right will make you feel good while you do good, and it will get you out of trouble. Doing the wrong will make you feel bad, especially if you win because of cheating. You have to choose the right because it is the right thing to do.

This quote means that doing the right thing might mean you have to stand alone. And even if you are standing alone you know you are doing the right thing. It doesn't matter if the people around you do it, it matters if you are choosing the right thing. Sometimes your friend might be on a different path, and they might be your friends, but it's your future. You can even bring people on to your path so that you won't stand alone. You have to be alone sometimes, although it might seem scary, you will end up finding people who will stand with you. Choosing the right is the best thing you can do, whether it be a small or big problem. You have to what is right because that will guarantee success. This quote means that because everyone is doing it doesn't make it okay for you to do. For example if you see other people cheating, you think "Oh, everyone is doing it so it's okay" so you cheat too, but your fate sealed when you cheat. You might get to the point where you cheat almost every time you have a test, you will end up getting caught. Everyone might be doing something but for you do it too just makes you a follower and you want to be leader. You can choose to ignore them and let them deal with there own problems or you can be a follower and possible set yourself up for destruction. You make your own decisions and you shouldn't let others influence you. Following others most of the time only leads you bad things, because you can't let others control your life. I prefer to be a leader since i don't want to be someone i am not by following other people. Another example is drugs, alcohol, and smoking, it can affect you if you fall into peer pressure
