This quote means that he wasn't there for the fame, he was there just to do what was right. He had so many wins and yet he didn't want it to seem like it was only him, he wanted the whole team to be recognized. Not many people are like that these days, sometimes people do it to become more famous and don't care if it was right. He was very humble, he gave everything he had but wanted nothing back. He just wanted to make men out of his players and make everyone proud. I believe if you are that humble you have achieved in life. People should strive to be that humble because if everyone was humble we would have less problems. An example of this is when you give your friend a present but you don't want anything back. Sometimes people just do it because it is the right thing to do. Being humble isn't something you can get it's something you learn by experience.

Honor is the best thing you can have, it's better to fail with honor, it shows what type of person you are. If you cheat and get caught, that can mess up for life. If you win or fail with honor it shows what type of morals you have, and it shows your parents raised you right. Doing the right will always do good, that's why you have to do it all the time. It doesn't matter if the people around you do it, it matters if you are choosing the right thing. You have to be alone sometimes, although it might seem scary, you will end up finding people who will stand with you. This quote means that because everyone is doing it doesn't make it okay for you to do. For example if you see other people cheating, you think "Oh, everyone is doing it so it's okay" so you cheat too, but your fate sealed when you cheat. You might get to the point where you cheat almost every time you have a test, you will end up getting caught. Everyone might be doing something but for you do it too just makes you a follower and you want to be leader. You can choose to ignore them and let them deal with there own problems or you can be a follower and possible set yourself up for destruction. You make your own decisions and you shouldn't let others influence you. Following others most of the time only leads you bad things, because you can't let others control your life. I prefer to be a leader since i don't want to be someone i am not by following other people. Another example is drugs, alcohol, and smoking, it can affect you if you fall into peer pressure
